Buyer Advice
Are you considering purchasing a new home, or even your FIRST
home?  If you are, then there are a few things you should know
before you jump in.

A)  Shop a few lenders before committing to one.  Every lender is
different, and each one have various programs they can offer you.
However, not all of these program will be right for you.

B)  Don't let any lender run your credit report until you are sure they
are the one you want to do the loan for you.  Each time a creditor
runs your credit report, it lowers your credit score, which is important
in determining your credit worthiness.

C)  Ask the lender for a GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE.  They are
required by law to provide you with this information. It tells you what
your loan will cost along with other important information you should
know before you go to the closing table.  If anyone tells you that you
don't need it, you should turn away and pursue a new lender.  There
are plenty of lenders that would be more than happy to comply with
your requests.

D)  Find a REALTOR® that will show you the homes you WANT to
see.  No sense in wasting your valuable time looking at homes you
aren't interested in.

E)  It is important to get pre-approved for a mortgage before looking
for a home.  This is important because then you will know what type
of loan you are getting and also how much home you can afford.
